Clare dropped by the Essex on Lake Champlain booth during Downtown Essex Day 2013 to quickly, effortlessly share this Essex doodle. We love her sailboat, a response to our question, “What comes to mind when you think of Essex, NY?”

And given the majestic sunny day with a refreshing breeze blowing across Lake Champlain, this young lady’s mind obviously created this enchanting doodle. In fact, this doodle is to soothing and alluring it makes me question the prudence of “driving my desk” when I should be scudding across Lake Champlain’s white-capped waters… Aaahhh, the wisdom of youth!
