The Essex Community Fund at Adirondack Foundation invites local nonprofits, schools, churches, and municipalities to apply for funding for the 2021 grant cycle.
The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 1.
Eligible projects must serve Town of Essex residents through community services, beautification, historic preservation, culture, the arts, education, or programs for youth and senior citizens. The fund typically awards grants in support of capacity building and one-time capital projects; as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the funds are also offering expanded support for operating expenses.
Applications must be submitted online through Adirondack Foundation’s Online Grants Manager. Learn more and apply: adirondackfoundation.org/granting/apply-grant/essex-community-fund
If you have questions, please contact Adirondack Foundation Program Officer Andrea Grout at andrea@adkfoundation.org or (518) 523-9904. After reviewing applications, the Essex Community Fund anticipates making grant recommendations in June with funding as early as July.
