The Ticonderoga Historical Society (THS) will hold “A Summer A’Fair,” its much-anticipated rummage and bake sale on Saturday, August 14 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Hancock House, 6 Moses Circle, Ticonderoga.
“Many folks start lining up early to scoop up the delicious baked goods we have to offer,” says THS President Bill Dolback. “This year, however, we have the added attractions of plants, many from our colonial garden and offerings of beautiful and rare history books from a donated estate. This year there truly is something for everyone.”
The annual event is a fundraiser for general operating support for the Hancock House Museum. Donations of gently used household goods and other acceptable “rummage” may be dropped off at the museum between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. until August 12.
