We said goodbye to our latest round of construction help on Saturday. Having traveled up from Louisville, David and Drew helped us make another push on the cellars, finishing framing and insulation of the basement against these chilly nights and putting in a healthy start on the wiring. With this help we will be able to continue work through the winter while staying warm and well-lit, and can provide a safe home to the stored dry roots. Thanks also to James’s mom who sent several boxes of home-cooking up to keep us outside working and away from the kitchen.
Thanksgiving Approaches!
Keep in mind that pick-up next week will be on Tuesday—come load up on all of your Thanksgiving meal fixins’. As we approach the holiday traveling season there are a few options for missed shares. Send a friend or neighbor in your place or contribute your share to the food pantry. Please notify me of food pantry donations by Wednesday night, we can send vegetables and eggs to the pantry, but no meat shares. There is much demand on the food pantry these days, your contribution of fresh produce and eggs are always greatly appreciated.
