The Belden Noble Memorial Library’s new series, Getting to Know Your Neighbors, begins on Thursday, May 3, at 7:00 p.m. with Mary-Nell Bockman and Andy Buchanan.
Mary-Nell and Andy plan to interview each other to share their story. The interviews will be followed by Q&A.
This event is a fund raiser for the library with a suggested donation of $5.00 (children free). See below for a description of the series and for the full schedule of events.
Hope to see you there!
About the series:
From May through December, you will have opportunities to meet and get to know several of your neighbors at the library. Some are well known beyond Essex, others not so much, but each has made a mark in some profession or field of endeavor as an entrepreneur, artist, public servant or volunteer. We believe their presence among us has contributed to the quality of life in our town and enriched our lives. They will talk about the interests and motivations that inspire their lives, the specific activity or activities that have absorbed their energies, and how Essex has inspired or shaped these activities. The series will be held on the first Thursday of each month from May through December at 7:00 p.m.
