My name is Melissa Maki and I own a wellness center in Willsboro, NY called Gratitude For Wellness. I’ve been practicing Five Element Acupuncture in the Willsboro/Essex/Plattsburgh area since 2012. I live and work in this amazing community and am so grateful to have found it!
With my current work as an acupuncturist and herbalist and my past life as a mental health clinician for 12 years, I have always focused on how people can come back to full health in body, mind, and spirit. I know that a body can heal itself if given the right tools and I have witnessed countless positive health shifts in my office.
However, as I have worked with thousands of people between my careers there is one area that is the most guilt-ridden, shameful, difficult, and overwhelming for people and that is their diet. This area is often the one that gets over-looked, ignored, or people are in constant battle with. Yet it is such a critical part of our quality of health.
That is why our team created the 5 Seasons Diet. This healthy lifestyle provides a sustainable health formula that focuses on clean eating, weight loss, boosting the immune system and reducing symptoms of chronic disease.
Below is an outline of how members can and have changed how they feel physically and literally removed unwanted symptoms from their daily life, all through the right formula of seasonal eating.
