Town of Essex Planning Board Workshop

January 16, 2012

4:05 p.m.

Attendees: James Van Hoven, Pat Tivnan, H. Nicholas Muller, III, Mark Walker and

Catherine DeWolff, Town Clerk

Also in attendance: Jeffrey Hastings

Several members of the Planning Board met informally this day to review procedure and the application process for a minor subdivision. There was an introduction of our newest member, Pat Tivnan. There was a discussion regarding the APA and their jurisdiction. There was no action taken at this meeting and therefore, no voting.

The meeting ended at 4:33 p.m.

Although I grew up in Essex on my grandparents’ farm and developed strong ties to farming, I wanted to see more of the world and experience the differences in cultures and people. I spent nearly fifty years in England, New Hampshire, Texas and New Jersey with trips to almost all of the fifty states and Singapore, an incomparable learning experience.
