MID DAY CONCERT SERIES
Proudly Presents
Joan Crane and Steve Feinbloom
Thursday, JULY 28, 2011 @ 11:30am
Guitarist and singer Joan Crane has been performing finger style acoustic blues in the Northeast and Midwest. Her masterful guitar style ranges from the emotional Delta style to the bouncy, syncopated Piedmont style.

Accompanying Joan will be upright bassist Steve Feinbloom, whose bass work complements the intricacy of Joan’s guitar. Steve has played bass for more than 3 decades with numerous blues and bluegrass groups and adds his own wry sense of humor to the performance. Steve resides in metropolitan Wadhams with pianist Rose Chancler and their daughter who has yet to focus on any one musical instrument.
The Mid Day Concert Series features an eclectic mix of music performed by local musicians. The atmosphere is casual, and attendees are invited to have lunch following the performance at a local restaurant.
Performances: Performances are held Thursday mornings at 11:30am, and last about 45 minutes.
Admission: Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
Lunch is available close by at Essex Provisions, offering sandwiches and deli delights (8am–7 pm), The Old Dock House and The Rudder Club at The Essex Shipyard.

This Is Dave Host Of The Website Listed Below. My Partner Brigitte and I Built A Two Page Tribute To Our Good Friend The Late Joan Crane, and Now Working On Page Three. We’re Looking For People Who Knew Her Personally, Have Articles About Her and Her Music and Most Of All Photos Of Her In Person and On Stage For Use On Our Website. It’s So Hard To Find These Items, and It Took A Lot Of Hard Work Just To Come Up With What We Have So Far. I Helped Her To Locate Her Missing Record “Dirt Pushers Blues” – Her Very First Album That Holds Up Just As Well In 2020 As It Did When First Recorded and Pressed, Back In 1976.
