Radio Chart-Topping Americana/Folk Artists Celeste Krenz, Rebecca Folsom, and Liz Barnez
Critically acclaimed singer/songwriters Celeste Krenz, Liz Barnez, and Rebecca Folsom have shared the stage many times over the years, so it is with much excitement as the trio rejoins to pay tribute to Joni Mitchell’s best-loved songs on July 6th and 7th at the Essex Theater in downtown Essex, NY. The group is just coming off a sold-out Colorado tour of the Joni Mitchell Tribute Show and will be performing at the Essex Theater Company’s historic and renovated theater in downtown Essex, NY. (2756 Essex Rd. Essex, NY). Renowned Keyboardist Eric Moon will join them.
Celeste Krenz is best known for her folk/pop Americana songs and sterling silver on velvet vocals.

Celeste and her husband bought a property near Essex and are spending their 4th summer in Essex.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the upcoming concerts in Essex, Krenz shared, “I love this area so much, it has been amazing to get to know the people of upstate NY. Rebecca, Liz, and I are thrilled to share our Joni Mitchell show here in the Champlain Valley.”
Rebecca Folsom‘s latest release was given top awards, and Americana Highways’ John Apice hailed Folsom’s Sanctuary album as “…worthy of awe.” Westword Magazine said that her song “Hit Like Little Earthquakes,” and KUNC radio has raved that her live performances will “Knock you to your knees!”
Liz Barnez was awarded “Best Singer-Songwriter Female” in the FoCoMA (Fort Collins Musicians Association) Peer Awards 2020. Liz Barnez was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and grew up inspired by jazz, blues, folk, gospel, R&B, Dixieland, funk, and parade music. She embraced the diversity of her musical and creative upbringing and transformed those into her own eclectic style of music.
The shows will take place on Saturday, July 6th, and Sunday, July 7th at the Essex Theater, Masonic Lodge in Essex, NY. The show starts at 6:30 pm and ends in time to catch the last Ferry back to Charlotte, Vermont.

Essex Theatre Company is receiving a $4500 grant for a new sound system by Soundscape at the Masonic Lodge, Essex, NY, from the Adirondack Foundation’s Essex Community Fund! This will complement the new LED lighting system from Bearfly installed earlier this spring and celebrated in the ‘Light’ Opening coming up on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 7 pm at the Masonic Lodge.
