La Mia Designs produces unique handcrafted items for fashion and interior design. Local North Country artist and La Mia founder, Stephanie DeJoseph likes to add that special touch to her products by choosing environmentally kind materials and adding hand-stitched details.
All my products are made with eco-friendly, repurposed, and vintage textiles, and all embroidery is done by hand. ~Stephanie DeJoseph

La Mia’s current product lines of aprons and farmer’s market totes are farm inspired with hand embroidered carrots, eggs, corn and other produce to encourage the growing health and wellness movement by shopping local and eating local. These items can be found online, at local craft/art shows, organic markets, and gift shops.
About La Mia Designs
La Mia Designs is a small eco-conscious design business that creates handcrafted items such as: handbags, jewelry, home accent pieces, and furniture. DeJoseph also offers custom interior designs with color consultation and endeavors to produce exciting products and services with you and your desires in mind. La Mia also strives to add detailed handwork into each piece such as embroidery and repurposed textiles.

La Mia Designs is an environmentally friendly company that minimizes waste by repurposing old and vintage items such as fabrics, clothing, beads, jewelry, furniture, and building materials.
La Mia prides itself in sharing creativity with others as well–in the form of workshops, teaching, and mentoring.
All this is done at a studio on Free Spirit Farm in Gabriels, NY. She and her future husband are working towards developing their farm as an artistic workshop haven for aspiring artists to come together and inspire one another while sharing other expressive arts and activities such as cheese-making, quilting, yoga, flower arranging and more!
