World Book Night, April 23
At the Belden Noble Library, Essex, NY
What is World Book Night?
I bet you’re wondering what World Book Night is. I’ve never heard of it until now, but now I know it’s a great idea!
Do you love to read? I know I do. Do you know someone who doesn’t read–for whatever reason–and you want to share the joy of with them? Well, take advantage of this event to gift a book to that person. Go to the Belden Noble Library and take one of the books up for grabs and give it to someone who needs it. The books should be given on April 23, but may be picked up at any time!
Baker & Taylor, our primary book supplier, sent us a set of 20 books for World Book Night (we have 18 left!). The idea behind World Book Night is for enthusiastic readers to give books to people who don’t regularly read or are unable to obtain books for reason of means or access. These books are on display at the front of library — come in, take a book, and give it to a someone on April 23! (Belden Noble Library)
