The Whallonsburg Grange Hall swings into summer with a dance and show by The Steady Benders, on Saturday, June 3. The event will begin at 6:30pm with a live swing dancing lesson led by Chad Vogel and Gwen Jamison of Reber Rock Farm in Essex, and the performance will follow at 7:30pm.
The Steady Benders are a group of seasoned musicians delivering a mix of rockabilly, blues, country and Cajun tunes, as well as the occasional ballad so you and your sweetie can slow dance under the Essex stars! The locally-based quartet features catchy vocals from Lee Adams on guitar, Max Hyde-Perry on bass guitar, Craig Johnson on drums, and Eric O’Hara on guitar and pedal steel guitar.
Kick up your heels or just watch and listen! Tickets are $8 at the door, no dance experience is needed, all ages are welcome. For more information, visit www.thegrangehall.info.
