Once Upon a Time
In the late 1990s, before SCAT Bar exploded in popularity along the Adirondack Coast (and beyond), Suzie Trzaskos was living in Colorado and whipping up delicious back-country snacks to keep herself and her friends fueled up during their adventures. One homemade energy bar in particular repeatedly earned accolades: “That’s some good $#&%!!!” Call it destiny. Or call it research and development. Trzaskos’ original SCAT Bar is still earning rave reviews today. Upon relocating to the Adirondacks, she began developing the popular prototype into a diverse product line of healthy, homemade SCAT Bars to please all palates.
