DRAFT
Informational Sewer Meeting
5/12/11
The meeting was called to order at 6:05 PM.
Board Members present were Councilman MacDougal, Councilman LaForest, Councilwoman LaPine, Councilman Wrisley and Supervisor Boisen. Also present was Audrey Hoskins, Town Clerk.
Visitors included Sally Johnson and Tina Gardner.
Supervisor Boisen said Jim Dougan of AES would not be at the meeting and she would do her best give an update on the sewer project.
Sheehan’s will not here this Monday. They hope weather permitting to be back in Town on Monday the 26th. The ground is too soft for the heavy equipment to work on it.
We will need to work with them on the time frame for work this spring.
The work at the ECHO parking is on schedule.
Sally Johnson asked when will the rest of the work be done on her property. Supervisor Boisen said when they return they have been instructed to do the commercial properties first. There is no schedule as of now as to when they will get the residences. Supervisor said that prevailing wages go up July 1st so she believes they will have most of the restoration work done by July 1st. The final restoration will be done in the spring of 2012.
The high water was discussed as to how it is affecting the restaurants on the lake.
Supervisor Boisen said the ice cream shop, the deli, the inn and the retail stores
are opening soon.
The Board asked Tina how things are going. She has been to Westport’s sewer plant. She has books to study and is going to our plant to see the progress of the plant and to see how things work.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:33 PM.
Respectfully submitted Audrey Hoskins, Town Clerk
