Senior Teachers Can Relate to Aging Students
Some of my clients tell me that I don’t know what it’s like to “get old,” and you know what, they are right! I’m 35! As Tai Chi instructors and therapists, Brian (43 years old) and I don’t fully comprehend the struggles of aging first hand because we haven’t been through it. However, our new Tai Chi instructors, both over the age of 60, have a first hand experience with the joys of aging and use Tai Chi to help them deal with pain, improve their balance, and age more gracefully. It has even been a way to continue moving when other traditional forms of exercise have failed.
Watch the video above, meet Scott and Claude, and find out how Tai Chi has been beneficial in their lives.
If you have reached the age where you have started getting the AARP magazine in the mail, or have a mother, father, aunt, sister of friend who is over the age of 60 and could use a gentle, effective method of staying active, dealing with pain or just wants something fun to do, come over to join Scott and Claude for Tai Chi!
