SPECIAL MEETING

10/17/2012

Board members present on Roll Call were Councilwoman LaPine, Councilman MacDougal, Councilman Wrisley, Supervisor Boisen, and Councilman LaForest absent.

Resolution #157
Motion to appoint Audrey Hoskins as town clerk to fill remainder of recently vacated term, 12/31/13
Moved by Councilman MacDougal. Seconded by Councilwoman LaPine, Roll call Councilwoman LaPine yes, Councilman MacDougal yes, Councilman Wrisley yes, Councilman LaForest absent, Supervisor Boisen yes.

Resolution #158
Motion to put Audrey on town clerk bank account and tax collector bank account moved by Councilman MacDougal. Seconded by Councilwoman LaPine. Roll call Councilwoman LaPine yes, Councilman MacDougal yes, Councilman Wrisley yes, Supervisor Boisen yes, Councilman LaForest absent.

Motion to enter Executive Session to discuss the employment history of a particular person was made by Councilman MacDougal. Seconded by Councilwoman LaPine.

Roll call Councilwoman LaPine yes, Councilman MacDougal yes, Councilman Wrisley yes, Supervisor Boisen yes and Councilman LaForest assent.

Entered Executive Session at 2:15 PM. Exited Executive session at 3 PM.

As there was no other business the meeting was adjourned at 3:05 PM.

Although I grew up in Essex on my grandparents’ farm and developed strong ties to farming, I wanted to see more of the world and experience the differences in cultures and people. I spent nearly fifty years in England, New Hampshire, Texas and New Jersey with trips to almost all of the fifty states and Singapore, an incomparable learning experience.
