
Every Monday we share a vintage image on the Essex on Lake Champlain Facebook page and invite our viewers to play some Vintage Essex Trivia. Last week we shared the postcard above which looks relatively new. Have you ever seen this postcard before? When do you think it was taken?
Do you recognize the view? What about that island in Lake Champlain? (Hint: This is not in Essex, but it is near.)

Schuyler Island is located on the lake between Port Kent, New York and Willsboro Bay. It is technically part of Chesterfield, in Essex County, New York. Take a look at it on a map below:
