On Friday, January 20, the Whallonsburg Grange Hall will present a concert by RUSTED ROOT’S singer/songwriter MICHAEL GLABICKI with band mate Dirk Miller.
Rusted Root, the multi-platinum sextet out of Pittsburgh, evolved around front-man Michael Glabicki’s distinct style and grew into a musical entity that has thrived in a non-genre specific category encompassing dramatic performances and a polyrhythmic, multicultural rock-and-soul sound. Having recently released their 8th studio album, The Movement, Rusted Root continues to maintain a strong foothold in the world/jam/rock world.
In addition to the two decades with Rusted Root, Glabicki is exploring new sounds with his solo career. He has started touring nationally as a duo act, and frequently tests new songs on the road while continuing to perform well-known Rusted Root hits. Glabicki currently routes his solo tours around the Rusted Root schedule, and has multiple performances throughout the year.
Doors open at 7:00pm, and the show begins at 7:30pm. Tickets are $15 at the door or may be reserved by calling 963-4170, with a special rate of $10 for those under 18. Advance reservations are highly recommended. All ages are welcome.
