September Art Exhibit Opening Reception at the Adirondack Art Association

The Adirondack Art Association in excited to announce their September Art Exhibit for 2017. The exhibition, which will feature a group show of AAA artist members, will be held from August 25 to October 9, 2017. An opening reception which is free and open to the public will be held for the exhibit on Friday, August 25 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the AAA in Essex, New York.

Open seasonally from May to October, the Adirondack Art Association (AAA) is a 501c3 not-for-profit community organization that was founded in 1963. In March of 1978 the AAA formally received its New York State Certificate of Incorporation as a New York not-for-profit educational and cultural corporation. The Adirondack Art Association hosts four gallery openings and a silent auction each year, each are free and open to the public. These exhibits create an opportunity for over 50 artist members to present their work. These artists are from every age group, from children proudly displaying their class creations to retired adults perusing their passion for art.

From July 1 to August 30, the gallery is open everyday from 11 am to 5 pm. From September 1 to October 9, the gallery is open Friday through Monday from 11 am to 5 pm. The Adirondack Art Association closes for the season on October 9, 2017.

The Adirondack Art Association was founded in 1963 to encourage art and contribute to community in the Adirondack Region. Our gallery showcases the work of 100+ members from May to October, with a special Christmas show in early December. We are proud to promote the work of local artists and to offer art-oriented workshops for all ages that draw on the North Country's immense reservoir of artistic talent.
