Silent Auction Begins at the Library

The Belden Noble Library’s silent auction is open for bidding! 35 items are in the auction, and others will be added soon. You can browse them on the library’s auction page.

NEW THIS YEAR! Bid in person or online

In the library: Place your bids using the bidding sheets next to the items on display. You will be able to bid until Saturday, December 10 at 4:00 p.m.

Online: Browse the items on the auction page and click to go to the online bidding form to place your bids. You will be able to bid online until Friday, December 9.

To place a bid, you must first get a bidding number by stopping into the library or calling the library at 518-963-8079.

About Tom Mangano

Tom became the director of the Belden Noble Memorial Library in Essex after a 33-year career as technical editor at GE in Schenectady. In 2009, Tom received a master's degree in information science from the University at Albany. He became library director in Essex in 2011. Tom and his wife MaryAnne divide their time between Essex and Schenectady.
