Soundwaves is pleased to present singer songwriter Ryan Montbleau on July 10th as part of the Westport Community Concert Series at Ballard Park. Jay Fiegl will open the evening.

Montbleau’s solo concert is being presented by Nova Natural Toys & Crafts on behalf of Lakeside School at Black Kettle Farm. All donations made this evening will go directly to benefit the school.

Montbleau says about about his solo tour, “Currently I am a band of one. I had an amazing group of guys on the road for 10 solid years. We drove about 60,000 miles a year and played 200 shows a year. But last year we closed that chapter of our musical lives. We’ll see what the future brings, but in the mean time, I love, love, love playing solo. It’s taking me back to the center of who I am as a performer and as a songwriter. I love to do it and I’m going to give you everything I’ve got.”

The 2014 summer series continues at 7:30 every Thursday night through August 28th on the hillside amphitheater overlooking Lake Champlain, known as the Ballard Park Performance Pavilion. Bring a blanket/lawn chairs and a picnic. The rain site is across Main Street/Route 22 in the acoustically amazing historic chapel of the Westport Heritage House.

About Soundwaves

Soundwaves is a community summer concert series held on the pavilion stage in the natural amphitheater at Ballard Park in Westport, NY. The concerts begin at 7:30 pm every Thursday from July 2nd through August 13th (2015). This summer’s concert series is curated by veteran jazz trumpeter & Westport resident Taylor Haskins. In the event of rain all concerts will take place at the Heritage House directly across the street.
