The Westport Heritage House is hosting the 6th Annual Spirit of Place Art Show in and around Westport, NY. The Plein Air event took place on Sunday, July 7th at Ballard Park and included a hands-on Plein Air Painting Workshop taught by Saranac Lake artist Sandra Hilbreth in the Park during the event.

The next phase of the 2013 Spirit of Place Art Show will be the Artist Studio Tours. Local artists open their creative workshops on Saturday, July 13th and Sunday, July 14th from 10AM-4PM. Stop by the Westport Heritage House or call 962-4590 for a map of studio locations.

The third phase of the 2013 Spirit of Place Art Show will be an Opening Reception on Thursday, July 18th, 5PM-7PM to begin the art exhibit and silent auction. The silent auction benefits both the artists and the Westport Heritage House. The auction and art show will run from July 18th until 3:00PM on August 10th.
