A group of Fellows from the McGill International Community Action Network will speak about the work that they do in disadvantaged neighborhoods in Palestine, Jordan, and Israel. The illustrated lecture, “In Spite of All Odds, ICAN: Building peace, security and community from the ground up in Israel, Jordan and Palestine” will discuss the ways in which their program operates to aid disadvantaged, ethnically diverse communities in Palestine, Jordan, and Israel.
The presentation will take place on Sunday, November 23, 2:00 p.m. at Temple Beth Israel, located at 1 Bowman Street in Plattsburgh, NY. The event is free and open to the public.
Refreshments and an opportunity for questions will follow the presentation.
