The Mill in Westport, NY, will be adding two night residencies for nationally touring comedians this spring. The Mill’s creative director Taylor Haskins says, “Our event capacity is limited to 60 guests, which means our performances are intimate, personal and engaging. Our audiences have been traveling from all over the region for our renowned comedians, and these shows sell out quickly. The enthusiasm resounds through the laughter in the room, and we want to bring more joy to the North Country!”

On March 20th and March 21st at 7pm, The Mill will present Alex Kumin, a standup and writer based in New York City. Kumin is an NYC based comedian by way of Chicago and Boston whose bold and whip smart standup delights crowds across the US. She can be seen performing nightly in New York City and is a favorite at The Comedy Cellar and New York Comedy Club. She was a 2025 TimeOut New York Comic to Watch, and you’ve seen her on the NYC Don’t Tell Comedy series, NBC’s “That Clip Show: Holiday Edition”, and Comedy Central Standup Featuring.

On April 17th and April 18th at 7pm, The Mill presents Isabel Hagen, a nationally touring stand-up comedian and classically trained violist. As a comedian, she has been featured on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and was a New Face of Comedy at the Just for Laughs festival in Montréal.
The performances will be supper club style, taking place in the Knock, The Mill’s 21st century speakeasy tucked away in the rear of the historic building. Table seating is reserved for all performances, and guests are welcome to enjoy a plant-based dinner menu and bespoke and classic cocktails throughout the evening. Tickets are available online at themilladk.com. Mature audiences only, 18+
