The Champlain Valley Film Society presents: The Old Breed. Including buffet dinner with introduction by special guest director/mountaineer Mark Richey.

In 2011, three Americans set out to climb the Himalaya‘s SK11, 7,518 meters high and the second-highest unclimbed mountain in the world. Mark Richey, Steve Swenson (both in their 50s) and Freddie Wilkinson attempt the ascent alpine-style-carrying all their provisions and climbing without fixed ropes.
Mark Richey, former President of the American Alpine Club, has made over 40 expeditions to some of the tallest and most remote mountains in the world including summitting Everest and the North Face of the Eiger.
