Every week we share a different image on the Essex on Lake Champlain Facebook page and invite our viewers to play some Vintage Essex Trivia. The last image we shared was from the cover of an old Lake Champlain Transportation ferry brochure see above, however, we did crop off the date and asked the community to guess when they thought it was created. No one got 1973! Would you have guessed around that year?

On the cover, it’s very interesting to see the Champlain ferry in the photograph seemingly taken from a passing sailboat.
