
Every week we share a different image on the Essex on Lake Champlain Facebook page and invite our viewers to play some Vintage Essex Trivia. The last image we shared is shown above, although we shared without it’s caption.
When do you think this old postcard dates to? Can you identify the ship? What about the dock? Anything else you’d like to share? The caption identifies the location as “Steamboat dock at St. Albans Bay, Vermont.”

Not sure which flag Dianne is referring to — the American flag is the only one I can see, but I can’t make out details, like number of stars on it…Can you? Unless there is another flag I’m missing?
