Last Saturday, CATS volunteers led by Trail Steward Bill Amadon, did a fabulous job getting the new Viall’s Crossing Trail ready for the Grand Hike. They moved rocks (literally!) which would get slippery when wet.
Thank you to Deirdre, Joe, Evelyn, David, Michael, Ed. Tom, Elise, Beth, and Tim!
This Saturday, April 28 – Help Prepare for the Grand Hike
You can help get trails ready for the Grand Hike. We want to finish Viall’s Crossing and hike parts of the Grand Hike route to remove fallen branches, cut leaning limbs, and make sure it’s ready for the big day. Can you imagine more fun than simply walking a trail and making it better for those who follow? (Well, yes, you probably could, but I think you know what I mean)
Please meet at 9:00 am at the Dogwood Bread Company in Wadhams. Arrive early, get some delicious food, and advance the “promote economic vitality” part of our mission. If you can help, would you let us know? Please call the CATS office (518-962-2287) or email info@champlainareatrails.com —Thanks!
