The second of the Wednesdays in Wadhams Lecture Series is going to encompass a serious topic that many people should learn about: Medicare. What does it do? How does it work? Will it help you? Attend to find out!
Heidi Palmer is an expert at unraveling Medicare’s complexities and will explain how to make informed decisions during the Fall Open Enrollment Period. Participants are encouraged to bring their –or their parent or Senior friend’s– Medicare card and list of medications to take full advantage of her talk.
Medicareʼs Open Enrollment Period begins on October 15 and lasts through December 7. During Fall Open Enrollment, you have the right to change your Medicare health and drug coverage options without restriction. This includes:
- Changing your choice of health coverage (Original Medicare versus Advantage Plans)
- Adding, dropping or changing Medicare drug coverage (Part D). (Wadhams Free Library)
