The wild duck bonanza, in the open waters created by the ferry, are a sight to behold, well worth the roundtrip passenger fare with binoculars and camera. Here is our famous webmaster, George Davis, taking in the wonder of very close-in viewing of the 15+ different species that have been sighted from the ferry this winter.
Hurry up and make your trip! The ice will be gone, as will the ducks, when their precious open water habitat once again expands to everywhere.
