For the Grange’s fourth installment in their Fall Lyceum Series on the subject of Navigation, the Grange is excited to work with Champlain Area Trails to bring ornithologist and author Scott Weidensaul to the Grange on Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 7PM.
The expected enthusiastic response was overwhelming, as all pre-registration slots are full, however, a Waiting List has been created. Contact the Grange at: ADMIN@THEGRANGEHALL.INFO to be added. The Grange looks forward to future collaborations like this, bringing quality programming to our community.
Based on Weidensaul’s newest book, A World on the Wing, this presentation looks at the navigational and physiological feats of migratory birds and the efforts by scientists, researchers, and bird-lovers to preserve global migratory patterns in the face of climate change and other looming challenges.
Suggested donation for the lecture: $5.00 per lecture. Students FREE.
The Lyceum Series will continue their “Navigation” series – with their final talk, Homeward Bound: Atlantic Salmon Migrations – on Tuesday, October 26th. Visit www.thegrangehall.info for additional links and information as they are updated.
