This fall season, find yoga for all comfort levels and schedules at Lake Champlain Yoga & Wellness. With a total of 18 classes each week, we offer something for everyone: those looking for support through chair yoga, a quieter-paced yin class or candlelit class, an energetic and revitalizing class or a later-evening class.
Saturday mornings with Michael are a perfect way to ease into your day and your weekend. Classes incorporate breath awareness, energizing movement, and a connection to yogic philosophies. Through purposeful progressions, students explore how yoga can transform one’s time on and off the mat.
Every Sunday morning, one of the studio’s teachers—on rotation—will guide an awakening and rejuvenating class that is appropriate for all levels.
Each Monday, Lexi offers two classes that explore breathing techniques and a revitalizing flow of asanas. Combined with heartfelt teachings, each class offers an exploration of the many benefits of yoga.
On Tuesday and Thursday mornings, Michael guides students through varying sequences that allow for pose refinement and a deeper experience of yoga. A balance of action and attention increases opportunity for inner reflection.
Additionally on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, join Michael for a Chair Yoga class, which uses a chair to support some of one’s bodyweight and increase balance and range of motion. This class is ideal for those who are searching for gentle access to the many benefits of yoga. (Due to limited chairs, please register in advance for this class by going to our website www.lakechamplainyogaandwellness.com)
Tuesday evenings, Karin offers a “chill” yoga class for those looking for a slower-paced flow. A gentle floor warm up moves into a shorter standing flow, then ends with a deep, meditative stretch on the floor.
On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, join Lexi for Candlelight Yoga. Through reflection, meditation and breath, students will ease into the practice. Then an alignment-based flow will renew and open the body, culminating in a deep relaxation.
Each Wednesday, Susan guides an all-levels Kripalu-style class with plenty of modifications. As a meditation in motion, each class emphasizes mindfulness and breathing. Students benefit from a complete strengthening and balancing of the body.
Later on Wednesday evenings, Nora offers a nourishing class that connects students to the moment and to their inner selves. A progression of poses develops as the body opens and expands naturally. Each class includes inspiring teachings and a deep relaxation and chant to end the class.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening, join Lexi for an hour-long journey through breath and movement. Moving with intention, students are guided through a revitalizing flow that connects mind, body, and heart.
