The next class presented by the Grange Community Kitchen will be Monday, April 22 at 6pm! Learn how to pickle beets.
Join Barbara Kunzie, master food preservationist and farmer, in a class that’s all about beets. Sweet spring beets, hearty winter beets – learn one of the easiest and best ways of preserving the bounty and waking up your taste buds! (Whallonsburg Grange Hall)
About the Grange Community Kitchen
The Grange is fully equipped with canning supplies and equipment, including several pressure canners. It is certified as a commercial kitchen and is available for use by home-canners and value-added food producers. (Whallonsburg Grange Hall)
Various classes are held in the Grange Kitchen to teach food preparation and preservation techniques! They’ve had classes ranging from how to make pasta, baking pies, and pressure canning. Keep an eye out for future classes you’d be interested in and learn a new skill!
