The simple act of conscious breathing affects every aspect of our anatomy. There is a direct correlation between the ability to breathe freely and our overall state of health. Every cell of our body requires a constant supply of oxygen for the energy generating process of metabolism. In this workshop we will explore at least 3 primary yogic breathing techniques “Pranayama,” that are designed to gently remove obstacles that prevent us from breathing freely and deeply – Dirgha Pranayama – There Part Breath – Ujjayi – Ocean Sounding Breath – Nodi Shodhana – The Channel Purifying Breath. We will explore these breaths along with energizing and relaxation methods to go along with them. All levels are welcome! (Live Well)
