Do you recognize the scene on this old postcard? The photo caption tells us it is “Main Street, Looking North, Essex, NY”— so we know we’re on Main Street, but where exactly?
We’ve had one guess and I think it’s a good one:
Dianne Lansing I think this was taken from near the top of Bull Run Hill. Those sidewalks were most welcome, I’m sure.
