This series allows for beginners as well as for those who have an advanced practice, to come together weekly and sit in a guided meditation practice. Mindfulness meditation has been shown to reduce stress, improve sleep and generate a sense of calm and well being in practitioners. Each week we’ll begin with 20 minutes of guided meditation that focuses on body and breath awareness followed by 15-20 minutes of silent meditation. Chairs, blankets and other props will be provided so that all body types and abilities can find a comfortable position to meditate in. Drop ins welcome.
