Donna Lou Sonnett is owner/host of The Cupola House, an Essex, NY guest house with vacation rentals. Donna also operates and Essex, NY antique and art gallery and performs with The Wannabes (Essex, NY folk group) and Bright, Sonnett & Vicaro (3-part harmonies of music from the ’50s, ’60s & ’70s and beyond).

Donna Lou Sonnett restored The Cupola House Guest House and Vacation Rentals into a stately Greek Revival gem that opened it’s doors in 1995 and has gained accolades and fans ever since. Donna also runs a small antique and art gallery located on the first floor of the Cupola House which specializes in American made quilts, primitives, collectibles and local artisan’s work – including some of her own creations. Donna has hiked, biked, fished, and boated throughout the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain region, held a DEC outdoor guides license for several years, and loves to tell visitors about local swimming holes, remote cross-country ski trails and hidden attractions that only a seasoned resident would know.
